TITLE: GET UP AND STRIVE ON

KEY TEXT: “For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief” (Proverbs 24:16 KJV). 

What the devil wants is to see the children of God frustrated out of the way of salvation. He never rests until he sees one fallen to the point of not being able to stand up and fight on again. He has so much wounded many believers with his deceptions to a point where they think it is no longer possible for them to stand up again, not that the grace to stand up is no longer available, but Jesus Christ is still close by with His hands of deliverance stretched forth to them. Unfortunately, the devil (the father of lies) has made them believe that they are now the enemies of God, making them believe that they have stepped beyond the boundary of MERCY and RESTORATION. Romans 3:23-24 KJV

DO NOT BELIEVE SATAN'S LIES: Beloved in Christ, I do not know the state you are in. Maybe you have gone beyond the level of the prodigal son and you think salvation is no longer available for people like you. That is a BOLD lie from the pit of hell, and people like you are the most wanted in God’s Kingdom. You were the reason Jesus Christ said, “Come, and let us reason together.” He wants to reason with you. He knows what happened to you and wants to see you return to your rightful position as a PECULIAR child of God. Return to God now. Isaiah 1:18-22 KJV

DO NOT WAIT ANY LONGER: Child of God, it is time to let the devil know that you are a warrior. You cannot be defeated in the battle Jesus Christ has already fought and gave you victory over. Satan wants you to be ignorant of the power you have over him through the redemptive power in the blood, and he is using your past sins to fight you. Let him know it is written: “And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross” (Colossians 2:13-14 KJV). You have to stand up and possess your possessions that the enemies have held bound for a long time. Go and sin no more, because the power to overcome sin is given to you. 1 John 3:7-10 KJV 

PRAYER: O Lord, my God, thank you for reminding me of the power I have over the devil and his schemes. I engage in the power of the redemptive blood of Jesus Christ to stand up and fight on, as I claim victory over every situation and opposition, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen. 

REFLECTION: “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8 KJV).
