Title: REJECTING CHRIST DELIBERATELY 

Key Text: Mark 5:16-17 KJV - And they that saw it told them how it befell to him that was possessed with the devil, and also concerning the swine. And they began to pray him to depart out of their coast.

What a tragedy! If you read the story in the key text of today's Divine Inspiration from verse one in Mark chapter five, you would find out what great miracles of deliverance Jesus Christ performed in the life of a young man who was terrorising a community, not of his own will, but was completely possessed by the devil. No one could bind him, not to think of even saving him. Mark 5:4-8 KJV

Only Jesus Christ Has Power over Satan: Everyone in the community ran from this young man. I believe no one dared to cross his way, and he was left alone in the tombs and mountains. Glory, hallelujah, he ran and worshipped Jesus Christ, the Creator of all things, and begged Him not to torment him before time (Satan speaking). Glory be to God, the young man was set free by the Only True Saviour of mankind. Colossians 1:16 KJV

They Prayed Their Deliverer Away: In comparison to the humanity of today, these people saw what Jesus had done. They cried over the herd of swine instead of appreciating and welcoming Him. The same thing is happening today. Some people would rather die in sin and go to hell because of their sinful enjoyment than accept Jesus Christ into their lives genuinely. Beloved, your soul or the world? The choice is yours to make. 1 John 2:15-17 KJV

Prayer: I choose to let the world and its deceitful riches go, in order to gain true salvation, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

Reflection: “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name” (John 1:12 KJV).
