TITLE: GIVE UP THE IMPOSSIBLE MISSION 

KEY TEXT: 1 Samuel 17:47 KJV - And all this assembly shall know that the Lord saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the Lord's, and he will give you into our hands.

The most dangerous or damnable mission one should pray not to embark on is to fight or work against God. One should pray not to fall victim of allowing himself or herself to be used against what God Himself is doing or standing for. Many in the past have tried to stop or truncate the plans of God. Some, with the little power or authority given to them, forget that all power belongs to God. They tried to allow themselves to be used against God's interests. Almost everyone who has done so has never lived to see the end of the mission. 2 Corinthians 5:10 KJV 

YOUR DAYS ARE NUMBERED: King Herod thought he was on top of the world and all power was in his hands, but he was too foolish to realize that he had no power over his breath. He was looking for the young boy (Jesus Christ) to destroy, forgetting that the same young boy was the one holding his breath. How long could he fight before finding himself in the eternity of permanent doom! King Pharaoh, with his little authority given to him by God, wanted to stop the heavenly predestined plans for the children of God Almighty, but he found himself to blame. Are you on a mission to stop the plans of God in anyone's life or in the true Church of Christ? Please stop now before you meet your waterloo. Isaiah 64:8 KJV 

YOU WILL NOT SUCCEED: Do not let the devil or anyone push you to fight your God. No one fights his or her Maker and wins. Remember, you do not own yourself. God created you and He numbered your days, so you will surely return to give an account to Him. Can you give an account of how you tried to destroy His work or how you fought against His will while on earth? Hmmm! Even those who live their lives in holiness are so scared of facing God after death, not to talk of you fighting Him. Please repent of your sins, break your contract with Satan, confess openly and pray for your soul to be spared from the wrath of God that was awaiting you for fighting against His will. Isaiah 45:9 KJV 

PRAYER: O Lord, my God, please have mercy and forgive me, in any way I gave myself to Satan to be used against your will and purpose in anyone's life or your work. I repent today, as I give up the damnable mission in order to receive salvation for the safety of my soul, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen. 

REFLECTION: "But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death" (Proverbs 8:36 KJV).
