Title: STRIVE TO BECOME LIKE JESUS CHRIST

Key Text: Luke 6:31 KJV - And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise. 

Jesus Christ, in all His glory, left His throne, came to this world, suffered and died for humanity. Why? Because He saw the untold pain that awaited anyone who died in sin. By putting Himself in our shoes, He gave mankind the hope of salvation; hence, putting ourselves in other people's shoes is extremely important before finalizing any decision in any situation. We must exhibit true love towards one another as Christians, which is what the Bible teaches. Unfortunately, this kind of love is not practised in Christendom, not even the preachers of the gospel can boldly say that they are obeying this very commandment. Unknown to us, we would not hurt other people or see the less privileged and turn our eyes from them, if we really understand the key text of today's Divine Inspiration. It is high time we started following the Scriptures the way it is. Many have ended up in hellfire because they thought others were inferior to them. Philippians 2:3 KJV 

Can you truly answer this question as a Christian: Is your mind pure? The problem many Christians have is that they have the face of Jesus Christ, but the mind of Satan. Hypocrisy is the order of the day in this generation. Many Christians are hypocritical in their character because their hearts are not broken. The Word of God has no place in their hearts. They could sing, dance, pray long prayers, even preach holy messages, but their hearts are as dirty as the grave. Most Christians do not have human feelings at all, yet they are expecting the rapture. I wonder which Christ or rapture they are expecting while in the far country of iniquity. Matthew 22:39 KJV 

Integrity should be one of our watchwords. Some believers always want to be pushed before they could do the right thing. To them, the Holy Spirit only speaks when they are on the receiving end but is a lying spirit when they are told to give out. Heaven is all about love. Our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, so much gave to the extent that He gave Himself. Some believers know what will make the heart of God joyful, but they will not do it. See what brother James said to the Church: "Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin" (James 4:17 KJV). Knowing what is good for your neighbour and refusing to do it is a sin. Some Christians are fond of giving to those who are already rich but would not think of the poor. Such people must repent, or else they will meet their father, the devil, in hellfire (Proverbs 28:27). Accept Jesus Christ today as your Lord and personal Saviour if you are not born again. John 3:3 KJV 

Prayer: O Lord, give me your kind of mind to always see people the way you see them, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen.

Reflection: "But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him" (1 John 2:5 KJV).
