Title: Add Value to Your Salvation

Key Text: Matthew 24:13 KJV - But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Salvation is the most important thing in the life of every believer. There is no greater achievement that could be measured with salvation. No other gift is as precious as the gift of salvation in a Christian's life. It is one of the most fragile things, because it could easily get lost when not valued. It baffles me when some ministers of the gospel and believers say, "Once saved, always saved." It is an erroneous teaching which makes me wonder if they ever came across such a Scripture. The Word of God clearly states that those who endure till the end shall be saved. This could imply that those who endure halfway or backslide will not be saved. Mark 13:13 KJV 

Many have forgotten that salvation is a gift, a gift which is not obtained by doing any work or by one's ability. As such, it could be misplaced by the recipient if not valued or carelessly handled. Remember, it is only those who keep their salvation in holiness till the end that will enter the Kingdom of God. No matter how many times an individual has been to church, regardless of his or her confession, work, and other things done with or for God, only the believers who stay in the faith and keep their salvation till the end will be saved. Remember, many in hellfire today were once saved and even performed great signs and wonders, but they lost their salvation and are now singing the song of regret in hellfire. Romans 6:1-2 KJV 

Beloved children of God, we are in a race, and only those who finish well at the end will be rewarded with a crown. Please give no place to a backsliding spirit in your life. Hold on to your salvation in faith, true holiness, and complete righteousness till the end. Our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, is displeased with the backsliders every day. They put Him to shame after they have been washed by the Word of God. Please strive very hard to finish the race that you have started. Constantly confess your sins and strive not to go back to them again. Hebrews 10:38 KJV 

Prayer: Father, please help me fight and conquer anything that wants to abort my salvation. The agents of the devil who are looking for believers to abort their salvation will never locate me, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen.

Reflection: "But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul" (Hebrews 10:39 KJV).
