TITLE: WHOSE WILL IS ALWAYS DONE IN YOUR LIFE? 

Key Text: Luke 22:42 KJV - Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.

This is one subject that all believers should pay real close attention to. Most believers or Christians do not even know who they are loyal to. They cannot tell who controls their decisions, and they do whatever that comes to their mind, as long as it is profitable to them, not minding what their souls go through because of their actions. All they know is that they are praying to God or going to church. John 12:49 KJV

IT IS NOT ABOUT YOU: One thing Christians should know is that nothing is about a believer anymore the very day he or she gives his or her life to Jesus Christ. From that day, everything is all about what God says and if one’s future actions will glorify God. Jesus Christ, throughout His physical life on earth, was always concerned about what God was saying, and that was why He said that He does what He sees His Father doing and says what He hears Him saying. If you are a believer, can you also say the same about yourself? John 8:38 KJV

COMPLETE SUBMISSION IS DEMANDED: God does not need ninety-nine percent submission, but complete submission to His will. This could only be achieved by complete humbleness coupled with the fear and love of God in one's life. This is when one sees God first before anything else in decision making. Jesus Christ saw God first before Himself when He was face-to-face with the cross. One's feelings and emotions must be done away with when making decisions in God's presence. Remember, believers are always in God's presence, even when cooking in the kitchen or taking a bath. So, we must learn to pray and patiently wait for what God has to say in all our decision making. You must be genuinely born again to hear from God. Romans 8:14 KJV 

PRAYER: O Lord, my God, please have mercy on me, in any way I have been in charge of my decision-making and was answerable to my own will. I repent and have decided to surrender to your will from henceforth, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

Reflection: “And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him” (John 8:29 KJV).
