Title: Where Is Your Gift Taking You To?

Key Text: 1 Corinthians 12:7 KJV - But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.

God Almighty, who is rich in mercy, has blessed His children with heavenly gifts, which are to be used for the edification of the body of Christ. God expects everyone to excel in his or her own area of calling, because everyone will present his or her record of stewardship at the end of his or her journey here on earth. Anyone using God's gifts contrariwise is indirectly calling God's anger upon himself or herself. Today, many use their gifts as their personal belongings to make merchandise and meet their selfish gains. They do whatever they like, forgetting that God Almighty is watching. Matthew 7:21-23 KJV 

Personalizing God's Gifts: God's free gifts are not personal and marketable commodities. What would someone, loaded with the spirit of prophecy, singing, preaching etc, using his or her gift to make ends meet for himself or herself tell his or her Maker when he or she exits this world? It is so sad that many people no longer use their gifts for the purpose for which they were given. Many serve and glorify the devil with their gifts instead of the Almighty God who fully deposited those gifts in them. Matthew 10:8 KJV 

All Shall Give an Account: Are you an apostle? Handle your apostleship well, because you shall give an account of it. Maybe you are a pastor, evangelist, minister, choir leader, singer, songwriter etc. Handle your area of duty with all diligence because you shall account for it. Perhaps God has highly anointed you, and with that, you think it is in your power to do things and pride has taken over you. You better have a rethink and repent. Remember, your Master has gone on a journey and will soon return unannounced and will demand an account of all He entrusted you with. You were warned! Matthew 25:31-46 KJV 

Prayer: O Lord, my God, please have mercy and forgive us, in any way our gifts are unprofitable to you and the body of Christ. Help us use them diligently and be rewarded at last, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen.
