Title: ENDANGERING THE MOST VALUABLE 
Key Text: Luke 12:15 KJV - And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.

When you tell some people they are in danger of losing their jobs, houses, cars, businesses, etc., they run helter-skelter to protect their possessions from being ruined or taken. But it is amazing to see people so careless about the most valuable part of them. They feel reluctant, even when they hear that their souls are in danger of eternal damnation. This is the peak of foolishness! Matthew 6:19-21 KJV 

Receive Counsel from the Greatest, Wisest Counselor and Live: A countless number of souls are burning in hellfire, regretting and blaming themselves, saying: "If I had known, I would have made use of the counsel of Jesus Christ!" A person's life consists not in the abundance of things he or she possesses, but many people want to have the world in their possession, forgetting their eternal home. 1 Timothy 6:17 KJV 

Hellfire Is Wide Open for Anyone Who Chooses to Enter: Many people, even some so-called believers, take the issue of eternity as a child's play. They forget the only alternative to heaven is hellfire, and heaven is not ready to accommodate anyone with sin. Are you living your daily life running after material things? You will run into hellfire with your filthy desires if you do not retrace your steps back to God in holiness and true righteousness. Now that you have the opportunity, repent!. James 5:1 KJV 

Prayer: My Lord and my God, I repent of my foolishness of pursuing the shadow. I receive the grace to be content with what I have and to live soberly and righteously in this world of iniquity to the praise of God, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen. 

Reflection: "For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows" (1 Timothy 6:10 KJV).
