Title: Let Christ Be Your Consolation In Everything

Key Text: 2 Corinthians 1:6 KJV - And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation.

There is no doubt that the race to heaven is very difficult and not a bed of roses. The Bible makes us understand how the early church and apostles of Christ laboured so hard, working out their salvation to get incorruptible crowns. According to the key text, whether they were comforted or afflicted in their sufferings for Christ, it was for their consolation and salvation. They endured pain, carried their cross, and finally attained their crowns of glory. Romans 8:18 KJV 

You Are Surrounded By A Cloud Of Witnesses: Beloved one, there is nothing you will go through that someone in the past did not go through, who will stand to testify against you if you fail to overcome your present challenges. In 2 Corinthians 11, Apostle Paul recounts his painful experiences and challenges as he journeyed for the cause of Christ. However, none of his predicaments stopped his burning love and work, for which he was called to be an apostle. 2 Corinthians 11:23-33 KJV 

What Will Take Away The Love Of Christ From You? This is a question every genuine child of God should ask himself or herself. The life of a genuine believer of Christ is full of trouble on every side. It is written: "If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable" (1 Corinthians 15:19). However, one will be more than a conqueror in any stormy sea if he or she makes Christ his or her consolation in all situations, whether it be good or bad. Romans 8:35-39 KJV 

Prayer: O Lord, my God, please have mercy on me for the times I have failed to make you my consolation in all things. I receive the grace to do so from now on, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen.

Reflection: "Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else" (Isaiah 45:22 KJV).
