Topic: NO EXCUSE IS GOOD ENOUGH BEFORE GOD
Key Text: Psalm 18:6 KJV - In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears.

David was a man like every other person on earth. He once lived in this world, was born of a woman, had a father whose name was Jesse, and the last son of eight children (sons). He grew up spending most of his time in the bush taking care of sheep, while his siblings were at home. He was called out of the bush and was anointed by Prophet Samuel to become the King of Israel. David was chased from pillar to post by King Saul, who wanted to kill him for more than nine years. He then became the King of Israel after the death of King Saul. Romans 8:18 KJV 

Why Should You Give Up? Beloved, if there is anyone who should have an excuse to take off his eyes from God, that should be David. He never enjoyed what his siblings or peers enjoyed, and his life became threatened from the day he was anointed king. In all, David never accused nor denied God. He held onto God till the end. He was always praising, worshipping, and thanking God in every situation. Philippians 4:6 KJV 

What Reason Would You Give Your Soul If You Give Up The Race And Send Your Soul To Hellfire? God hate to hear "I can't move on anymore; I am tired of this heavenly race; It's like God has failed me; What am I labouring for as a Christian; Am I better than my mate in the world?" All these are words and thoughts from the devil. Beloved, let your soul keep thirsting and longing for God no matter the situation. Don't give up, for God will never give you up to Satan. Galatians 6:9 KJV 

Prayer: O Lord, grant me the grace to keep hope alive and to trust in your power, no matter the situation, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen.
