Topic: DON'T BETRAY YOUR SOUL FOR EARTHLY POSSESSIONS
Key Text: Matthew 16:26 KJV - For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

I shed tears in my heart for the ignorance of man, whenever I remember how fast time flies and how quickly this life could impact one's life. How many years does one have to live on this earth? When can one ever say he or she is satisfied with whatever the world has offered him or her? How much labour can one render to satisfy the flesh? What is the gain of possessing all the possessions if not for self-satisfaction? Ecclesiastes 1:3 KJV 

The natural man, irrespective of the fame, security, wealth, position, and possession that he or she has, terror and fear is all around him. No amount of wealth can give one the desired joy in life without having the fear of losing all in death. A natural man kills to keep himself alive, but how long would he do that? The death he or she is running from is certain. Hebrews 9:27 KJV 

Lots of souls in hellfire who once valued their possessions more than their own souls, only realized how foolish they were while on earth pursuing wealth at the expense of their own souls. Thank God you and I are alive to choose. We have but a little time to stay on earth; then, face eternity. Wisdom demands that we should be content with what we have, and do all we can to secure our souls for eternal life. Have you given your life to Jesus Christ? Do so now if your answer is NO. John 3:18 KJV 

Prayer: I give up whatever that will make me enjoy this world and end up my soul in hell, as I receive the grace to live for eternity in heaven, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen.

Reflection: And this also is a sore evil, that in all points as he came, so shall he go: and what profit hath he that hath laboured for the wind? Ecclesiastes 5:16 KJV
