Topic: The Enemy Within 
Key Text: Matthew 7:17 KJV - Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

Often time, so many people, believers inclusive, run up and down looking for who and how to destroy witches and wizards or demons causing misfortune in their lives. They are ready to attend any programme that could help them win the battle over the household enemies. They could spend any amount of money to travel anywhere for deliverance from the powers of darkness pursuing them. And they could buy any spiritual material that could aid their quick deliverance. Matthew 7:6 KJV 

Look Inwardly For Your Arch Enemy: Many believers are actually feeding and taking care of the wicked enemy that is killing them. They buy travel tickets and travel up and down with it. By so doing, joining hands with the actual enemy within to fight the none existing enemy. Many sisters had blessed and quiet families; however, with their bad character, they threw insults at every opportunity. They had no regard for anyone until everything became ruined. Now, they are busy fighting witches and wizards when they know it was their unbelievable nagging and insulting attitudes that rained upon their gentle, wonderful and God-given husband and broke their peaceful home. Proverbs 16:7 KJV

Bad Attitude Deliverance Demanded: The actual deliverance that most believers need is deliverance from bad character. Pride has caused the downfall of so many believers, though many are busy fighting the unknown enemy. Instability could also be counted as one of the major problems believers are facing, as they can't stay in a place for long without having problems. They could insult or fight the same person helping them. Some believer's problem is trying to live the life they are not up to. They would borrow money to buy expensive items just to measure up, and would start fighting enemies when it backfires on them. In fact,  most believer's arch-enemy is sin. They are not willing to repent, yet looking for blessings from a holy God. Deliver yourself from that sin and bad character, and stop fighting the none existing enemies. 2 Corinthians 10:6 KJV

Prayer: O Lord my God,  please have mercy on me and forgive me in any way I have been fighting enemies that are not in existence, rather than repenting from my sins and amend my ways. I repent today and ask for the grace to amend my ways, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen

Reflection: Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV
