Topic: The Vanity Of The Pleasures Of This World
Key Text: Ecclesiastes 1:2-3 KJV - Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity. What profit hath a man of all his labour which he taketh under the sun?

The driving force behind worldly deception is indeed a very powerful one. It is a force that could pull down anyone into the torment and damnation of hellfire, regardless of the title or the height the person has attained in life. This force has drowned millions of souls into hellfire, Christians inclusive, and numerous souls are still on their way unknowingly, being captured by the forces behind worldly pleasures. Mark 8:36-37 KJV 

Watch Out For The Dangerous Force Of Vanity: A vast majority of believers have been entangled into running after vanity, leaving reality behind and pursuing shadows that they can never meet. Most believers have eyes but can't see. We see how people are dying and leaving behind all that they ever acquired, and their wasteful life on earth to face eternal damnation, yet many believers have not learnt their lessons. They are busy still chasing after the vanities of this passing away world. 1 Timothy 6:9 KJV 

Don't Die For What Has No Value For You: If only humanity would understand that what we are fighting for or struggling to achieve does not care about us. The cars, houses, loaded bank accounts, position and possessions have no value and regard for you; you will understand me better after death. The only meaningful life is the life lived in the fear of God. Let nothing in this world draw your attention from following Jesus Christ in holiness and true righteousness. Romans 12:2 KJV 

Prayer: O Lord my God, please have mercy on me in any way I have been living my life pursuing after the vanities of this world. Grant me the grace to fight the forces behind worldly pleasures, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen. 

Reflection: Love not the world, neither the things [that are] in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 1 John 2:15 KJV
