Topic: The Self Sufficient God 

Key Text: Isaiah 40:28 KJV - Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.

Most believers have succeeded in turning themselves into enemies of themselves, by thinking they were actually helping God in whatever they were doing for God in His vineyard. Some of the people God brought out of darkness, shame, sorrow, distress, and frustrating situations into His glorious light have suddenly turned themselves into mini gods in the eyes of other believers, and have totally turned their backs on God. Job 22:23 KJV

You Don't Add To God's Glory: Many believers think that their preaching, singing, praying or whatever they're doing in the house of God can actually add to God or make God to be more powerful. What a foolish and damnable imagination from a wicked heart! It's a privilege for anyone to be allowed to praise, pray, and work for such a HOLY and MIGHTY God. He is a self-existing God, who needs no one's glory to increase His already existing glory. He is glorious, all by Himself. Revelation 21:23 KJV

Humble Yourself Before His Mighty Power: Have you been feeling so proud because you are doing something for God? Is there anything you are doing and thinking it cannot be done without you? My beloved in Christ, it can be done without a billion of you put together. You should be joyful God chose you out of billions of people in the world. And mind you, the work would either find you a place in heaven or in hellfire. In hellfire, if you are proud of yourself, and in heaven, if you humble yourself before God in total obedience to His Word and directions. 1 Peter 5:6 KJV

Prayer: I receive the spirit of humility to walk with God in total obedience to His will, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen.

Reflection: Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 18:4 KJV
