Topic: The Unpopular And Neglected Truth
Key Text: 1 Kings 22:8 KJV - And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, There is yet one man, Micaiah the son of Imlah, by whom we may enquire of the Lord: but I hate him; for he doth not prophesy good concerning me, but evil. And Jehoshaphat said, Let not the king say so.

Since the fall of man, humanity has resulted in going after lies and falsehood, thereby becoming an enemy of the truth. The hatred for the gospel of truth started in the Old Testament, and not just in the New Testament. Indeed, humanity has become a lover of darkness. No wonder when Stephen was about to be stoned to death, he asked the Jews which true prophet did their fathers not persecute and kill. King Ahab hated Prophet Micaiah, 1 King 22:1-28, the true prophet of God, and followed after the four hundred lying prophets who always told him what he wanted to hear. The same thing is happening today; Christians are either fighting or running away from men of God with the complete painful but gainful truth. 2 Peter 2:1-3 KJV

The Scriptures Can Never Be Broken: It is written that the road which leads to hell is very wide and many people troop in it everyday, while the road that leads to eternal life is narrow, and only a few people find it. Churches have been turned into entertainment centres with some having three to four services every Sunday, because it's conducive for those who want to joyfully walk into hellfire. Today, most of the large congregations are either completely full of falsehood or teach partial truth. Matthew 7:13-14 KJV

Hated But Sound Gospel: The sound gospel has always been hated by those who are perishing. More than ninety-five percent of today's believers are perishing because they have rejected the true gospel of holiness and righteousness. They have decided to run after the popular demanded gospel of the devil. Meanwhile, those who follow after the truth are suffering, but safe, as written in the Word of God. Are you in a congregation hearing the painful but gainful gospel? I counsel you to hold on till the end, for the glory that would be revealed in you by Jesus Christ. Romans 8:18 KJV

Prayer: O Lord my Father, have mercy on me and deliver me from following after falsehood instead of truth. Grant me the grace to live a life of holiness, righteousness, and truth, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen.

Reflection: Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. Colossians 2:8 KJV
