Topic: Godly Patience Is Demanded 
Key Text: Luke 8:15 KJV - But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.

You can see what Jesus Christ pointed out in the parable of the sower. The seed (Word of God) that fell on good soil are the ones who brought forth fruits in the end, but not without patience. He said, "and bring forth fruit with patience." It means that patience is highly recommended for any true believer who wants to do the will of God and see Jesus Christ someday in glory. For the few years I have walked with Jesus Christ with the help of the Holy Spirit, I have concluded that no other work on earth requires patience more than the work of God. Habakkuk 2:3 KJV

You Won't Go Far Without Patience: The work of God is the work of waiting. You must learn to wait on God. Job said "... all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come" (Job 14:14). An impatient man cannot wait. Many have gone to bow to Satan for lack of patience. Remember, God does things in His own time, not even your tears or hard work can make Him do things at the wrong time. He knows the best time for everything. You must wait for that "God's best timing." Romans 8:25 KJV

God's Timing Is The Best: Is there anything you are asking God to do for you? Pray for the grace to wait as you pray for your needs. If He decides to do it immediately, glory be to Him. And if he decides to wait longer, to Him be all the glory. Remember that your soul matters to God more than your needs, so don't rush God into doing anything, and learn not to be commanding when asking God for something. Always pray that His will be done. I know that a woman wouldn't be happy to give birth to a child of five months instead of the complete nine months during pregnancy. Luke 21:19 KJV

Prayer: O Lord, have mercy on me in any way I have been walking with you with the spirit of impatience. Please, grant me the grace to patiently follow you from now onwards, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen.

Reflection: For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. Romans 15:4 KJV
