Topic: Heaven Or Hell, The Choice Is Yours
Key Text: Matthew 16:24 - Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

If making it into heaven was simply by professing it, no soul would have been in hellfire. Sadly, though some Christians study the Word of God, they still believe hell is not real. Many who believe hell is real, do not believe that humanity can go in there. Why? Because their pastor have told them Jesus Christ is too kind and merciful to send anyone to hellfire, irrespective of the sin committed. Yes, Jesus Christ doesn't send people to hellfire, sin does. Hebrews 12:29 KJV 

Everyone Decides To Go To Hell Or Heaven: Jesus Christ is not the one sending people to hellfire as most people believe. Every soul decides where to spend eternity. The Bible says: "Those that do not believe in Jesus Christ are already condemned while they live" (John 3:36). You will not expect someone to die in condemnation and go to heaven. Jesus Christ has done His part by dying for you; it's up to you to accept the gift of salvation or not. John 3:16 KJV 

Deny The Pleasure Of Sin Or Heaven Will Deny Your Soul: This is where the roadblock is for most professing believers, who want to come to Jesus Christ with sin and remain in their sins. But Jesus Christ is saying that you must deny yourself if you would follow Him. You cannot follow Jesus Christ with your worldly lifestyle. You must drop your sinful ways of making money, your covetous attitude and everything synonymous with sin to get a place in heaven. Mark 8:34 KJV 

Prayer: O Lord, grant me the grace to deny anything that will deny me of my place in heaven at last, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen.
