The life of the true children of God is totally opposite to that of the children of the world. No matter how hard one tries, both can never come together. Light and darkness cannot meet; it's either one is of the light or one is of the darkness. In reality, the children of God are meant to radiate the light of God. On the contrary, their lives are characterised by pain and persecution. Why? Because we are living in a totally strange world of iniquity and lawlessness. 1 John 1:5 KJV

Don't Expect Anything From Evil: The world we are living in is being controlled by the powers and rulers of darkness; therefore, you should not expect them to love you. The only way you could blend with them is to live like them. Why risk your soul because you want to be accepted by the standards of the world? The world has absolutely nothing good to offer you but pain indeed. Remember, whosoever that lives a worldly lifestyle should be ready to face the Holy God at last. 1 Peter 1:15-16 KJV

Are You Going Through Opposition and Persecution? Beloved, no matter what you are going through, don't forget that our Master, Jesus Christ went through more than what you are going through now. You are in the painful side of eternity, the gainful side is coming very soon. It is written, "If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you" (John 15:19). Beloved, please make sure you are living without sin in you. James 1:14 KJV

Prayer: O Lord, grant me the grace to joyfully bear what I must bear to enter the Kingdom of God; in Jesus Christ mighty name. Amen.
