Topic: Betray Not Your Own Soul
Key Text: Luke 22:22 KJV - And truly the Son of man goeth, as it was determined: but woe unto that man by whom he is betrayed.

Judas Iscariot never knew that in betraying Jesus Christ, he was indirectly betraying his own soul. Just as many people today have betrayed loved ones and close friends, thinking they were destroying them, but unknown to them, they were betraying their own souls. Everything one does positively or negatively affects the soul. 2 Timothy 3:1-5 KJV 

Come Out And Be Real: Today, many people profess to be who they are not. But why pretend to be who you are not? You are only deceiving your own soul and not the person you think you are deceiving. Why pretend to love a brethren when deep inside all you feel is hate? Why put on a smiling face when you are boiling deep down with anger ? 1 Timothy 4:2 KJV 

The End Shall Tell: So many people who thought they could not forgive their fellow brothers and sisters while on earth, got the greatest shock of their lives in hell after death. They saw the importance of forgiveness and genuineness in everything one does, but it was too late for them. Please always bear in mind that everything you do here on earth has a positive or negative consequence on your soul. Matthew 5:43-45 KJV 

Prayer: O Lord God, please forgive me in any way I have paid evil for evil to anyone, thinking I was destroying them not knowing I was destroying my own soul. Grant me your heart of love and forgiveness; in Jesus Christ mighty name. Amen.

Reflection: But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also. And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloke also. Matthew 5:39-40 KJV
