Topic: WHOSE PROPHETS ARE THEY?
Key Text: Matthew 7:15 KJV - Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Today, there are thousands of prophets and prophetess in the world; and the majority of them are in the church. The Islam, Hindu, and other religions have their prophets who speak the mind of their gods. Those who worship animals, serpent, stone, ancestors and all kinds of the work of men's hands, have their prophets or diviners also. Isaiah 2:8 KJV; Deuteronomy 18:20-22 KJV 

The subject matter is specifically concerned about the prophets in the Christian body. It might interest you to know that prophets have been in existence since the days of Abraham. Though there were always prophets in the Bible; still, God always has His own prophets. The Kings and Baals have their prophets. The prophets of God like Elijah, Isaiah, Daniel, Elisha, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Amos, Haggai, and Micah etc, were prophets who got words from the mouth of God to direct Israel in God's way.1 Kings 18:20-40KJV 

The prophets in the bible were always prophesying about the dangers of neglecting God; by telling people about the proposed anger of God concerning his rebellious people. They were not into saying, "I see you buy a car, you will be so rich, going to abroad without a visa; etc." Today, the church is even more rebellious; yet, your so-called prophets cannot hear the warning from the mouth of God. They cannot see the danger of missing the rapture. They are not hearing what God is saying about ending up in hellfire. They are not hearing God calling His children to repentance. WHO'S PROPHETS ARE THEY THEN? 2 Peter 2:1 KJV 

Prayer: O Lord my God, have mercy upon your children and deliver them from the hands of the prophets of Satan; that have invaded the church of God with their lying signs and damnable wonders; in Jesus Christ mighty name. Amen. 

Reflection: Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 1 John 4:1 KJV
