The world we are living in has been in existence since the creation. Generation upon generation have come and gone. They that have gone struggled. They did all they had the power and might to do within their reach at their own time, to possess all they could. They ate, drank, bathe, and did all we do today; hmmm! and they died and are forever no more. Hebrews 9:27 KJV

Where are all their precious possessions. Some fought, killed, oppressed to make sure they possess what they got, but death visited and took them in the midst of their lifetime acquisitions. They cried, struggled, fought to hold on to life, but death is stronger than man when it's time to take someone. They left everything and followed death to the place meant for them. Matthew 6:19-21 KJV

Hmmm! living all they got not even one thing was given to them by the world for their eternal journey. My beloved, it's your time now. The time is counting very fast, trying to draw us into eternity. What are you taking home with you? What are you fighting daily to acquire? Trade wisely because the vanities of life would manifest after death. Remember, you will give an account to God. 2 Corinthians 5:10 KJV

Prayer: O Lord my God, have mercy on me for ever running after the vanities of this world and forgetting my soul. I give up the world to take up my cross; in Jesus Christ mighty name. Amen.

Reflection: For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? Mark 8:36-37 KJV
