Bearing the name Christian is not enough. Christian means Christ like. Being a Christian, you are expected to do what Christ would do. Now, what are you doing to represent Jesus Christ? Does your lifestyle shows whom you confess to be? What is your contribution to the body of Christ? As salt brings out the taste of food, so should a Christian add value to the lives of people, in total holiness and righteousness. Matthew 5:16 KJV

If the Bible says salt could be good for nothing, when it lost its savour, but to be trodden under foot of men. This simply means, a Christian could be good for nothing, if they lose their salvation and be cast into hell fire if they die in sin or miss the rapture. You must do everything to discover your reason for being saved. Mark 9:50 KJV.

Beloved, have you sat down to meditate on this word our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ referred to us, as "the salt of the earth"? Amazingly, most believers do not know who they are, despite the fact that Jesus Christ has placed a very high value on his children. For the earnest expectation of the creature waited for the manifestation of the sons of God. God and His creation eagerly awaits your manifestation. Romans 8:19 KJV.

Prayer: I am the salt of the earth, as the word of God calls me. Please Lord, grant me the grace to fulfill my glorious destiny; so that I would not lose my place in creation, and that I may not lose my salvation in Jesus Christ mighty name. Amen.

Reflection: Salt [is] good: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be seasoned? Luke 14:34 KJV.
