Topic: The Destructive Power Of Lying
Key Text: Ephesians 4:25 KJV - Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.

So many believers, even some ministers of the gospel, don't know what it means to be a liar. Most people think that lying is only when one tells lie with their mouth. Beloved, lying is a very broad subject. No wonder the bible takes it very seriously by saying all liars shall find themselves in the lake of fire. Revelation 21:8

Maybe your mind has been deceiving you, telling you all is well that you are already set for heaven, or your mind might be telling you that you are free from lies. You think that you are truthful in all that you say. Wait a moment! Are you not lying about your skin colour, fingernails, eyelashes and your hair colour? Romans 1: 30


Anything you do falsely is a lie. Have you changed the colour of your hair? Do you wear high heel shoes to increase your height? Do you use artificial hair to cover the one God gave to you? Do you perm your hair to make it look like that of the white origin so to say? Are you working or schooling with a fake certificate? All of these and many more are lies that could send you to hell fire if you don't repent. Leviticus 19:11

Prayer: O Lord my God, I receive the grace to stop lying and do the right things in your sight and in the sight of men in Jesus Christ mighty name. Amen
