Topic: Precious Souls For Sale 
Key Text: Mark 8:36 KJV - For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

Many Christians, unknown to them have placed a price tag on their own souls. Funny enough, the price tag they chose is very cheap. Some have successfully sold theirs to the devil and are now living and waiting for the day they will die. They are heading to hell if they fail to recover their souls from the hands of the devil before death. Ezekiel 18:4

Our Lord and savior Jesus Christ, who died to redeem us from everlasting condemnation told us in His word that the whole world and its riches joined together, is not worth a soul. Yet, many have sold their souls for just a pair of shoes, cars, money, marriage, sex, position, fame, and so on. Matthew 16:26


One is unknowingly saying his or her soul is "for sale" any time one sins against God. Romans 6:23. There is no sin with a separate penalty but death. Don't allow the devil to trick you into sin with the passing away things of this world. Let the devil know that your soul is "not for sale" by doing all you can to run away from sin no matter how big or small it may look. Anyone who sins against God has wronged his or her own soul. Remember, the soul that sins shall die. Proverb 8:36, Ezekiel 18:20a

Prayer: O Lord my God, have mercy on me in anyway I have sinned against you. Please remove the tag of for sale on my soul and put not for sale; in Jesus Christ mighty name. Amen

Reflection:  The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9 KJV
