Topic: Trust In God Alone 
Key Text: Psalm 118:8 KJV 
It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.

The key text of today's divine Inspiration is life to those that understand it. It's a suggestive passage which makes it clear to us that we can decide to trust in man or in any other thing; although, the word of God is telling us that it is more better to trust in God than in man. A man's joy and hope in life totally depends on where his or her trust is. I have come to understand that trusting in man will only lead to frustration and confusion. Jeremiah 17: 5-8 KJV 

Don't Put Your Hope In Man: Today, so many people are in confusion and in sorrow. They use to be hopeful and joyful but all of a sudden, got discouraged when their source of hope (man) was taken away. No matter how a man truly loves you, and tries to help you; remember, that the life of a man is not in his hand. Man can die; and his strength can fail him at any time. This is the reason the word of God says, for by strength shall no man prevail. Trust in God, and He will bring your heart's desire to pass. Proverbs 3: 5-6 KJV 

Pay No Heed To Discouragement: There are lots of things that can discourage you. To be able to overcome them, rest your case in the Lord's hand. Let God remain all in all in your life. Learn to walk in God's presence and not in man's promises. Man can disappoint you; but, God would always stand by and with you. Only  trust in God. Keep your heart pure and your hands clean. Don't try to hide your sins. Confess them and let God hide them for you. Don't be discouraged. Learn to tell yourself it is well no matter the condition.  1 Peter 5:7

Prayer: O Lord, give me the grace to always look beyond man in every situation and only trust in you; in Jesus mighty name, amen.

Reflection: I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust Psalm 91:2 KJV
