Topic: Where Are Your Treasures?
Key Text: Matthew 6:19 KJV - Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal.

The scripture above was spoken by Jesus Christ; who is the Word of God Himself. He adviced us  not to lay up our treasures on earth; because all would amount to waste of time and energy; and at the end eternity in hell fire. If we use the little time we have on earth to pursue the things of this world that we would leave behind; we would be of all men most miserable. 1 Corinthians 15:19

You Are Where Your  Mind Is: Sometimes, I wonder how those people with countless houses, Jets, fleet of cars, different kinds of companies, going out of one marriage to the others, etc would still remember if there is a place called heaven; since they have built their own heaven on earth already. To you who know that this world is not your final destination, set your affection on things above and not on things on the earth. Colossians 3:2

Don't Trade Your Soul For Anything: It is written in the book of Matthew 6:21 - For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. You cannot be stealing and looting money, building mansions all over the countries; when the poor people around you are living in penury and then expect to make heaven in your iniquity. It is not a sin to be rich but so many people are rich to the detriment of their own souls. Proverbs 14:31 KJV 

Prayers: O Lord, help me to take my focus from the perishable things of this world; and to focus my affection on the things above where Christ is seated; in Jesus Christ mighty name; amen. 

Reflection: For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Mark  8:36
