Topic: Why Do You Seek God? 
Key Text: Luke 5:1 KJV - And it came to pass, that, as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God, he stood by the lake of Gennesaret

It's amazing how things have badly deteriorated in the body of Christ. Jesus Christ remain who He is; he has never  changed. He still heals, delivers, set the bound lose and captive free through the spoken word of God. It's unfortunate that the believers of today do not take the word of God very seriously. What most believers want from Jesus Christ these days is instant miracles; nothing more. Proverbs 4: 20-22 KJV 

Lots Of Believers Have Sold Their Souls To The Devil Cheaply: It would be too late for so many  believers when they realise that their souls was bought at the rate of a bottle of olive oil, handkerchief, necklace, demonic water and laying on of demonic hands by their so-called Daddy in the Lord who is actually an agent of Satan. The true word of God has now become so irritating to lots of believers; they prefer to be lied to and  prayed for. Romans 10:8 KJV 

Jesus Christ Is Looking For The Word Seekers And Not Miracle Seeking Believers: Jesus Christ has never really paid attention to the multitudes; like he did with the disciples. He can give bread and fish to the multitudes and tell them parables; but, he would always commune with his disciples in the secret place. Do you want to keep running after miracles until Satan himself lay his hands on you? Wisdom demands that we go for the word of God which is Christ himself. John 17:17 KJV 

Prayer: My Father and my God, have mercy on me for ever running after things that are freely given to me through your love; I repent and have decided to go after your word that gives eternal life as you grant unto me the grace that I need; in Jesus Christ mighty name; amen. 

Reflection: But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:33 KJV
