Topic: The Exceptional Jesus Christ 
Key Text: John 6:15 KJV- When Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and take him by force, to make him a king, he departed again into a mountain himself alone.

The lifestyle of humility demonstrated by Jesus Christ while he was on his earthly mission to redeem mankind is indescribable; he was humble down to earth. Pride was not in anyway found in Him; and earthly gains was totally out of his agenda. He had all it takes to acquire the world and all that was in it in his earthly mission; but rather chose to live his life in total obedience to Him that sent him. John 4:34 KJV 

Wisdom Demanded: Those who have eyes to see and those who can study the word of God, can through the lifestyle of Jesus Christ see the glorious end of his humility. In his humiliation Jesus Christ was humble and obedient unto death; no wonder he has been highly exalted above every other names. My beloved in Christ, wisdom demands that we learn from Jesus Christ and humble ourselves. Philippians 2: 8-11 KJV 

What Jesus Christ Refused: As we read in the Key Text that Jesus Christ had the opportunity to have been crowned as the King of Israel; but, he refused and decided to focus on his mission. Unfortunately, in our era, the children of God are killing  themselves to achieve what Jesus Christ refused. Many believers want to gain the world and gain the kingdom of God at the same time. Some Christians are even striving to achieve what the people of the world can't even go for because of its sinful nature. Colossians 2: 6-8 KJV 

Prayer: O Lord my God, have mercy on me in anyway I been living my life in the pursuit of worldly gains; I receive the grace to be humble and to live for you in holiness and true righteousness; in Jesus Christ mighty name; amen. 

Reflection: If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth Colossians 3: 1-2 KJV
